All of our products are developed in Switzerland and have won some of the most important design awards in the past. The focus of every one of our developments is the user and their needs. We want to support people in their everyday lives in the long term and offer products that impress with their functionality and quality. For this reason, we are particularly interested in customer-oriented solutions, sensible use of raw materials and timeless design. Our products should impress with their quality and support and delight the user for many years.

Swissness and quality form a unity. That is why Swissness is an attitude that all of our employees embody. Even if a product is manufactured in a company outside Switzerland, we do so with the same awareness of quality and use the same raw materials. Swiss roots and a global perspective shape our culture. This is the heart of our success at home and abroad.
Sustainable materials without harmful substances
It is important to us to preserve our living space sustainably and to conserve raw materials. That is why we consistently avoid harmful additives such as PVC and BPA in products and packaging. We are also increasingly relying on recycled plastics. In 2021, 35% of our products were already made from recycled plastics. We plan to double this percentage in the next few years.
Certifications
We have been certified according to ISO 9001 since 1996 and according to ISO 14001 since 2011.
We focus on sustainability and many products are certified with the "Blue Angel".
Products made from recycled plastic that are suitable for food use are certified according to EcoLoop requirements.

How can you proceed in the event of a warranty claim?
We are confident in the quality of our products. That's why we offer a 20-year guarantee on most of our products. Have you purchased a Rotho product with a 20-year durability guarantee and have a warranty claim? Here you can find out what to do next.
Unfranked or insufficiently franked packages will not be accepted. Costs incurred (e.g. postage and packaging) for non-agreed returns will NOT be refunded. Rotho accepts no obligation to store or return packages and submissions that are unsolicited, misdirected or have missing or insufficient address information. Our employees will examine the case and send you the replacement product if the claim is justified. Please refer to the following warranty statement for our detailed warranty terms.
Warranty Statement
Our products marked with a "20-year guarantee" are manufactured with the greatest care and precision. Products or individual parts with material defects, manufacturing defects or functional defects will be replaced by us within the guarantee period of 20 years from the date of purchase. If the products in question are discontinued from the range, Rotho will provide replacements by supplying similar or equivalent products.
1. The guarantee period applies exclusively to consumer purchases and deliveries and is 20 years. The guarantee period begins at the time the product is purchased by the consumer. As a manufacturer, Rotho provides the consumer with a guarantee for the products it manufactures during the guarantee period for design, manufacturing, processing and material defects in accordance with the following provisions. Important: This manufacturer's or durability guarantee applies expressly in addition to and dependent on the seller's statutory and/or contractual guarantee. However, it is excluded if the buyer makes a claim against the seller for the same defect based on a statutory or contractual guarantee. The buyer's warranty rights against the seller are therefore not affected by this guarantee. Reimbursement of the purchase price is only possible from the seller.
2. The durability guarantee only applies to products that are used as intended, operated correctly and properly maintained by the buyer.
The durability guarantee does not cover: Damage caused by excessive or improper use or use other than that intended, in particular due to failure to observe the Rotho specifications on the label. The guarantee promise is subject to Swiss substantive law, excluding the United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (Vienna Sales Convention).
